Welcome to APEX Tactical Training. Our mission can be summed up in two words:

We understand that there is much uncertainty and even discomfort at handling, and possibly using a firearm to protect yourself and loved ones.
We start with conversation. Then knowledge. Learning how to be safe and recognize when others are not- gives a good foundation to begin. Practicing with replicas and using technology to know if you're doing it correctly... and then proceeding when the student is ready.
Knowing how to use a firearm, safely and effectively, is a potentially life-saving skill. It is a worthy and noble goal to protect the innocent. To get there, you just need instruction and experience. Please be advised though, many who have sought this were surprised to discover that it could be enjoyable too.

Classes and Lessons are by personal arrangement. Live fire at a range will be either indoor or outdoor depending on preference and availability.

NRA Basic Pistol
Earn your NRA Certification for Basic Pistol
The NRA Basic Pistol Course will familiarize you with the correct operation and maintenance of semi-automatic pistols and revolvers, along with teaching you how to handle and shoot them safely. The course is for the new or prospective handgun owner.
NRA Basic Rifle
Earn your NRA Certification for Basic Rifle
​The NRA Basic Rifle Course will familiarize you with the correct operation and maintenance of bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles, along with teaching you how to handle and shoot them safely. The course serves as an introductory skills course for other more advanced defensive or competitive long gun courses.
Apex Introduction

A Beginner's Course to Safe Pistol
(Not an NRA certificate course)
APEX TACTICAL TRAINING was created for the purpose of offering this class. Designed for those who are unknowledgeable or uncomfortable with the pistol, this class will create a safe and effective learning environment.
Our Mission
About 5.4 million people became first-time gun buyers last year—or roughly 30% of all firearms purchased were bought by first-time gun owners, according to new survey results released by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF).

100% of these new owners should be trained in the safe and responsible handling, storage, and use of their new firearm. Millions more have purchased likewise 'some time ago' and keep it in hope of never seeing it again. Let's fix this together.
